It was recently reported that Jeff Bezos may have just purchased another home in Washington, DC last Friday – a $5 million mansion in Kalorama. This mansion sits at 2325 S St NW, across the street from the former Textile Museum he purchased in 2016 for $23 million. He is renovating the 27,000 square foot property to be his primary residence in DC.  Many are questioning why he would buy another home directly across the street from the mega-home he already owns. Privacy seems to be the number one thought, as the view from the rooftop deck has peeping potential into his main residence. This purchase is another reminder that Amazon is making impacts in our area as HQ2 continues to get built. A seller’s market still holds strong as the available inventory remains limited.
