About Jonathan Mitchell

In 2015 Jon moved to Arlington, VA, and immediately fell in love with the surrounding community and the unique neighborhoods that Arlington has to offer. After purchasing his first place with his wife in 2018, Jon started to develop an interest in looking at online listings around Arlington. Jon’s interest in real estate continued to grow through his work in mapping properties in land preservation, and while taking real estate classes. Jon’s goal is to create the same excitement he had when purchasing his first home for his clients.

 

Jon is originally from northeast Indiana. He graduated from Ball State University with a B.S. in Geography and Digital Mapping. After graduating, Jon worked for various county governments in Indiana, helping maintain Geographic Information Systems (GIS) databases, spearheading multiple projects such as town utility infrastructure mapping, and creating interactive web map applications. Jon currently works for a land preservation organization and as a dual real estate agent to help others find the perfect place to call home.

 

In his spare time, Jon likes to spend time with his wife, Lindsay, and his cat, Gus. He also enjoys being outdoors, playing a round of golf, and traveling to other countries.
